Reconstruction
Asphalt tennis courts have a typical lifespan of 25 years. Eventually, a total reconstruction becomes necessary, and our team is ready to remove the existing asphalt to make way for your new court.
Recommended for courts with:
- Depressed areas
- Structural cracking
- Sub-base issues
Our Green Approach to Reconstruction
Our pulverization method of reconstructing asphalt-based courts uses a milling machine to break up the existing asphalt into an aggregate that is blended in with the existing stone base. Not only does this extend the life of new courts and improve drainage, it also saves hauling and disposal costs!
Post-Tension Concrete Courts
Post-tension concrete courts are simply the best! These highly durable courts require minimal maintenance making them the most cost-effective option in the long run with a 50 year lifespan and minimal cracking.
- Ability to span unstable soils
- Increased resistance to settling or heaving
- Eliminates cold joints around net posts and fence posts
- Enables reconstruction over existing courts without excavation
- Creates stable and attractive edge
Maintenance
All hard courts, including asphalt, concrete, post-tensioned concrete, and all-weather overlays, need to be resurfaced after a period of time. We recommend resurfacing your court every 5 years to help maintain the integrity and longevity of the surface.

Tips & Tricks for your Court Maintenance
Keep these helpful tips in mind for regular tennis court maintenance to ensure the longevity of your court:
- Use a power blower to remove any debris and foreign matter weekly
- Keep grass and weeds trimmed around the edges of the court
- Use a hose to remove any dirt, especially after a heavy rain
- Remove any stains on the court using a mild detergent and scrub broom
- Make sure nets are secured to the posts and windscreens are attached to the fence with plastic wraps. Be sure to roll up your windscreen during winter months.
